Ich verfüge über mehrjährige Erfahrung im Erteilen von Einzel-Nachhilfe im Fach Mathematik, teils erworben bei diversen Instituten (z.B. Abacus-Nachhilfeinstitut, Schülerhilfe) sowie vor allem als Einzel-Nachhhilfe-Lehrer auf privater Basis und darf mit meinen derzeit 35 Jahren auf insgesamt ca. 25 zum Teil langfristig begleitete Schüler und Schülerinnen zurückblicken.

Meine Kenntnisse im Fach Mathematik basieren auf meinem während eines Bauingenieurstudiums erworbenen Vordiplom in Mathematik und Technischer Mechanik, sowie dem vorausgegangenen Abitur mit Leistungskurs Mathe+Physik.

Ich habe mich für die Unterrichtsform als Einzelnachhilfe entschieden, da ich dieser Form der Nachhilfe die besten Chancen auf einen ausbaufähigen Lernerfolg zuspreche.
Die Form der Gruppennachhilfe bietet dem Lehrer pro Schüler und Unterrichtseinheit gerade einmal max 20 min intensive Beschäftigung mit dem einzelnen Schüler, womit es mir unmöglich erscheint die Ursache für aktuelle Probleme zu entdecken und vor allem diese zusätzlich zum aktuellen Stoff zu bearbeiten.

Meist findet sich die Ursache für aktuelle Verständnisprobleme bei älteren stofflichen Lücken, welche den/die Schüler/in bereits seit längerem am Mitarbeiten und Verstehen des neuen Stoffes behindern.

Ich empfehle daher meist Nachhilfeunterricht nicht nur als Kurzprojekt vor einer Klausur zu betrachten sondern dem Schüler / der Schülerin einige Zeit zur Aufarbeitung eben dieser älteren Lücken zur zur Verfügung zu stellen. Auch nach erfolgreicher Aufarbeitung und Erlernen des aktuellen Stoffes kann eine weitere Betreuung eine große Erleichterung bei der Bewältigung des nachfolgenden Unterrichts bewirken.
Natürlich ist aber auch eine reine Unterstützung zur Prüfungsvorbereitung möglich.

Aus der bisherigen Erfahrung empfehle ich Unterrichtseinheiten von ca. 90 min um eine Hlfeleistung für Hausaufgaben, Erklärung des aktuellen Stoffes, Durchführung von zugehörigen Übungen, sowie der zwischenzeitlichen Aufarbeitung älterer Themen zeitlich überhaupt zu ermöglichen.
Meist ist eine Unterrichtseinheit pro Woche ausreichend, welche natürlich bei größeren aktuellen oder älteren Problemen auf zwei Einheiten pro Woche aufgestockt werden kann.

Ich biete Ihnen die Möglichkeit der Nachhilfe bei Ihnen zu Hause, da ich die vertraute Umgebung als äußerst positiv für den Lern-Wille und -Erfolg des Schülers / der Schülerin einschätze.

I have 5 years teaching experience, 4 in the UK and 1 in Dubai. I have taught a broad range of ages from Yr 6-Yr 13. I have extensive knowledge of GCSE A/AS level/ IGCSE/ IA/AS Level. I have taught English Language; English First Language; English as a Second Language and English Literature

In August 2010 95% of my students achieved grades A-C. 65% of these grades were A or A. For 80% of my students the grade they achieved in my class was higher than in any other of their subjects

I have also had experience teaching Yr7-9 History and Sociology to GCSE and A level standard. In March 2010, 2 students wanted me to tutor them for an IGCSE in Sociology although they had not studied it before. Instead of studying the course for 2 years as they normally would, we worked together twice a week for just 8 weeks until their exam and they both achieved grades 'C' and would have achieved even higher marks if it hadn't been for the time constraints

As an experienced teacher I understand how to assess each student on an individual Basis and create a learning experience that works for them. I ensure I provide a positive atmosphere for them to work in. I push all my students to work hard and achieve their best. I can tutor on a one-to-one Basis or with small groups. I also have experience supporting students with specific needs as well as those who are gifted and talented

Neben dem fachlichen Grundwissen, ist mir der individuelle Bezug zu jedem einzelnen Jugendlichen besonders wichtig u lieb. Durch diese pädagogische Basis habe ich in all den Jahren zu all meinen Schülern einen mehr als guten Bezug aufgebaut und auf diesem Wege nahezu immer deutlichen Erfolg erzielt.
Ganz wichtig ist, dass ich den Blick aus Sicht des Schülers nie vergessen habe und mich in ihn hineinversetzen kann, so dass meine Erklärungen ankommen und die Schüler positiv voran kommen.

I am a native speaker and quaified teacher with a PGCE. I have taught in primary and secondary schools and currenty teach French at University. As an experienced tutor, I offer French tuition on a one-to-one Basis or to groups as we as conversation casses in Bristo.
